After nine months of checking, the government has permitted 240 projects in Hanoi to continue.
Among them are developments of new residential areas like Duong Noi, Le Trong Tan, Mo Lao, Nam An Khanh, My Dinh and Me Tri and also include hospitals, schools, shopping malls and tourist sites.
Hanoi authorities have asked the Department of Planning and Architecture to divide 240 projects into two types: The ones that don’t need to be adjusted and those that must be adjusted before implementation.
The project developers have to submit three detailed construction plans to the Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture. Where projects need adjusting, developers have to contact the Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture for instruction before implementation. If they don’t submit the plans projects can be canceled.
